A single-use syringe that prevents disease from contaminated needles. Fortified rice for malnourished children. A new meningitis vaccine. These are among the latest innovations developed by Seattle-based nonprofit . And for more than 1,100 employees to do their jobs effectively and efficiently, they need access to on-the-job training. That’s where Holly Dahlstrom comes in. As a training coordinator for human resources, she helps employees gain skills such as project management and leadership development.
Her global development classes at °µÍøTV and an internship in Rwanda provided good preparation for the complexities of working cross-culturally.
“These people work in 70 countries around the world, but treat those cultures all with individual care and dedication,” she says. “It’s a huge blessing to be a part of that.”
