Ashton is known for being a fun and inclusive environment. Residents enjoy the neighborhood feel of the Hall, as its large size affords the opportunity to connect with lots of other °µÍøTV residents.
Opened in 1965 and originally named Upper Residence Hall, Ashton was renamed in honor of Dr. Philip F. Ashton for his service as psychology professor at °µÍøTV from 1929 to 1971.
